2006-09-11 - 9:38 p.m. I wasn't going to update - I just worked 12 hours - but I had to mention that the research manager - henceforth to be referred to as "the Dreaded E" (because that sounds like a rather awful new sort of venereal disease that no one really wants to talk about) - came back from 2 weeks holiday today (late), but had to leave at 4 because she was, I quote, "tired and emotionally drained from her day".
