2006-09-20 - 8:17 p.m. You know the funniest part of International Talk Like a Pirate Day (yesterday, in case you missed it) is when someone talks like a pirate without even realizing what day it is. Yesterday, I gave a friend a copy of a picture of her that wasn't very attractive. She exclaimed, Arrggg, shiver me timbers, what an awful picture! And then wouldn't even believe me that it was International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I'm deadly tired. When this whole stupid project started I prepared myself for 6 weeks of pure hell. I told myself I needed to be prepared to work tons of overtime; I told myself I wouldn't have a life; I told myself that I would accomplish nothing for myself for weeks on end. All well and good, I just didn't count on how tired I was going to be. I am actually dizzy with fatigue a good part of the time. I'm going to go to bed really early tonight and hope that has some restorative effect.
