2007-04-19 - 7:50 p.m. Did we all think it was spring? How foolish we all were. Went back to the doctor today (it takes weeks to get an appointment) and the good news is that I absolutely don't have diabetes (blood sugars - excellent), or a thyroid condition (thyroid hormones - perfect), or probabaly cancer or any of a host of other nasties. She thinks I've had a low-grade UTI all this time that's been dragging my ass down. So I've got three days of antibiotics. I didn't even make a fuss about them - usually I won't take antibiotics unless I'm seriously ill. Because, you know, I sure would like to feel better and not be so freakin' tired all the bloody time. I'd like to have my energy and verve back. I'd like to not have everything feel like it's a chore. And while we're on the subject of what I want, it can stop snow/rain/sleeting anytime now.
